I'm the co-owner of Emerald! I've been in the industry for just over 9 years and alongside Bre for 6! I consider myself to be an expert in all types of blonding, coloring, and precision cutting. I love doing extensions as well! I have a passion for food, plants, and being a toddler mom.

Appointment vibes: I love a good laugh and a fun time. Appointments with me are relaxing and comfortable! I'm a perfectionist so you can sit in my chair knowing I'll take the extra time to give you a quality service. I am a mentor also, and usually have an amazing assistant by my side.

Appointment vibes: I am a mentor and owner so my appointments are filled with education and questions. I am typically double booked but have an assistant to keep things running smoothly! There's usually a lot of laughs, vulgarity and advice shared along the way; ending in amazing hair and friendship!

I’ve been a hairstylist at Emerald Beauty Lounge for the past three years. I’m all about effortless, lived-in hair. Razored haircuts are my specialty—I love creating texture, movement, and yes… bangs (if you’ll let me). While haircutting is my main focus, I also love formulating rich reds and playing with a good vivid when the mood strikes.
I am also a first-year nail artist specializing in Gel-X, structured manicures (including Luminary), and polygel. I love being given creative freedom once I get to know you—drawing inspiration from your vibe and turning it into a set that feels uniquely you. I’m always on the lookout for ideas and designs that each of my clients will truly appreciate.

Outside the salon, you can find me hanging out with my cats, diving into horror and psychological thrillers (books and movies), gaming, traveling, and trying new foods whenever possible. I’m very much Type B—chaos is basically my middle name—but I promise your hair is always in good hands.

I specialize in bright vivid hair colors and color blocking! When I’m not behind the chair you can find me on a hike with my dogs or out and about on my roller skates! Like every millennial, I have a million plant babies and listen to too much true crime for my own good! 

Appointment Vibes: I provide a safe and comfortable space for all of my clients to come in and completely be themselves! There is a fun and welcoming vibe here at emerald that makes it easy for our clients to let loose. Although the energy in the salon might be poppin', silent appointments are always an option on those low energy days!

My name is Makena (She/Her. I’m a passionate hairstylist with an eye for style and love for felines, when I’m not behind the chair I love to cuddle up with my cats, watch YouTube, and drink strawberry lemonade!

I'm an LGBTQ+ hairstylist born and raised in southern Utah! I love doing vivid and hair colors as well as blonding. When I'm not doing hair I spend my time thritfting, reading, going out with friends, and cuddling with my cats!

One of my main goals when starting this career was to help my fellow trans community! I specialize in gender affirming cuts and colors! If you are queer or an ally my chair is for you !! : D

Hi! I'm Starr! I have been doing hair for 9+ years now. I specialize in fashion/vivid colors & edgy haircuts such as shags & mullets. I believe hair has no gender. I am also certified in hair replacement systems & have my own method of sewn in hair extensions. I love to play video games & watch tv in my spare time outside of the salon. I also loves hanging out with my family & friends. I have 4 cats that are all named after Star Wars characters.

I really love connecting with clients & building a bond with them. My favorite part about doing hair is being creative & making my clients feel confident & excited about their hair's end result.
